Paloma Blanca mod. Style #4833

Paloma Satin gown with piping along halter neckline and sheer deep V-neckline in Italian Tulle. Spaghetti straps at back and beaded belt at waist. Fit and flare skirt. This dress was originally purchased at Becker’s Bridal on the Danforth and tailored at As You Like It in Yorkville, Toronto. Bought Sept 2021 and worn in June 2022.

Details: I purchased a size 16 and made minimal alterations, as I didn’t want to spend the money on changing the dress. The colour is natural (not pearl.) I added padding in the bust area but would recommend removing it, as it left creases instantly because of my body type. Caution: this is a gorgeous silhouette, but people don’t tell you, is that this material creases easily! Depending on your taste, this could look sloppy.

Condition: I danced the night away in this dress and had it dry-cleaned the next day. There are a few minor stains on the bottom of the train, but they are only noticeable if you are explicitly looking for them. These stains are primarily light grey. Depending on your height, you may disguise this when you hem the dress (I am 5’9″ and wore 1.5″ kitten heels.)
