You can choose what page appears when you first open Safari or open a new window. The choices include opening a blank page, your homepage, the last webpage you viewed, or your Top Sites page or bookmarks list.
Open Safari if it is not already open.
Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click General.
Choose options from the “New windows open with” and “New tabs open with” pop-up menus.
