50s style, Bespoke Dress

I had this beauty handmade from an original 1955 pattern to match my Nan’s wedding dress.

It is lovingly crafted from Silk, tulle and lace, each of the lace segments and buttons are hand sewn.

The back is a hidden zip for a modern touch but the button detail was kept to maintain the vintage look.

Size 10-12 with 38″ bust which this is tailored to – this can be easily altered, panels can be added or removed by a pro.

At 5’3″ and I had it cut to be just below tea-length to accommodate 2 inch heels and a 1950′s style petticoat so it will fit a taller person with ease.

I took the petticoat off (after eating!) and it still looks gorgeous at ankle length which can be seen in the pictures.

Colour is best described as a light ivory.

Despite it costing a lot to make I am selling at a low cost so that this goes to a loving new home, it’s too pretty to sit in our loft and I’m not planning on having anyone to pass it on to…(I don’t think the dog would be happy wearing it!)
